I have started to whittle away of my leather collection, and this is one of the things I came up with. It is a large bushcraft ground cloth made from 10.1 ounce CBmaxwax Coyote tan waxed canvas and lined with a rich “chocolate” leather. So many incredible uses for this, including Flint napping, tools, food prep, and the usual bush craft ground cloth suspects. It is 36” x 41”. Definitely an heirloom item. I hope to make a few more in various leathers that I have. Do note that the stains on the leather in the pictures are normal in the tanning process, but who cares it’s gonna get dirty anyway.
