Handmade Waxed Canvas 12" Fry Pan Skillet Cover for Bushcraft Camping Outdoors

PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THIS DESCRIPTION AND MEASURE YOUR PAN ACCORDINGLY.  WE CANNOT OFFER REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.  WHEN IN DOUBT, GO LARGER.

This could become one of your most favorite pieces of kit!  You will never have to put a dirty or sooty cast iron pan or other cookware in your pack again.  This rugged waxed canvas fry pan skillet cover was designed to hold up to a 12" pan (your mileage may vary, but it fits our 12" camp fry pan - If you’re pan has a high lip it may change the width).  The waxed canvas helps to protect your pan and your pack and is highly water resistant.  It closes with a para-cord cinch and features a pocket in the front.

Color is ranger tan/field tan combo.

This was created to be a traditional Bushcraft item but has many uses. This is a great addition to any backpack or a gift for that outdoor enthusiast you know. Keep all of your items well organized and protect your equipment.

Martexin Original Wax uses an exclusive Martexin® finish,  which makes it technically superior to other waxed cotton fabrics in performance, longevity, and dryness of hand. Martexin Original Wax is an environmentally friendly blend of food and pharmaceutical grade waxes, and is completely non-hazardous.  This unique formula gives the fabric lifelong resistance to inclement weather and as the fabric ages, it develops a well-worn and comfortable patina.  The patina develops with more and more use, in the same manner that leather ages and burnishes with time.

Martexin Original Wax is a highly specialized textile that precludes normal cleaning. Just as you wouldn't wash a leather product such as shoes, gloves, or jackets, you won’t be able to wash or dry clean your Martexin Original Wax. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing.  A periodic cleaning with a hose, damp cloth is all that is needed.  Bare areas can be refinished with Martexin Original Wax refinishing compound which can help restore the wax finish.

Each bag is designed, created, and assembled in our small shop in colorful Colorado, USA.
