One of a kind unique bushcraft design insulated can cooler. Keep your beer / beverage cold and your hand warm with this wool insulated cooler.

Made from Martexin Waxed Canvas and insulated with surplus sourced wool, these can coolers are a step above! Fits snugly on your favorite beverage. No two are exactly the same.

Martexin Original Wax uses an exclusive Martexin® finish, which makes it technically superior to other waxed cotton fabrics in performance, longevity, and dryness of hand. Martexin Original Wax is an environmentally friendly blend of food and pharmaceutical grade waxes, and is completely non-hazardous. This unique formula gives the fabric lifelong resistance to inclement weather and as the fabric ages, it develops a well-worn and comfortable patina. The patina develops with more and more use, in the same manner that leather ages and burnishes with time.

Martexin Original Wax is a highly specialized textile that precludes normal cleaning. Just as you wouldn't wash a leather product such as shoes, gloves, or jackets, you won’t be able to wash or dry clean your Martexin Original Wax. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing. A periodic cleaning with a hose, damp cloth is all that is needed. Bare areas can be refinished with our Martexin Original Wax refinishing compound which can help restore the wax finish.

Each item is designed, created, and assembled in our small shop in colorful Colorado, USA. No two are exactly alike but all are made with great care and the intent that the item will be with you for a long time. Slight imperfections are part of the charm. This is a great item that will be passed down for generations.

Ground Sheets & Coozies

"I bought 2 XL ground clothes, initial thoughts loving them. I am 5'7 & 250lbs. I can easily sleep on it and keep most my body off the ground. If just trying to keep my bum dry when looking to sit on the ground, easily will allow 2 big guys like me to sit side by side with plenty of room. I am also impressed on the light weight, so for a placing in my tent will be good protection as in the tent ground sheet, probably will work as a under tent ground sheet depending on climate. Probably could use a wrap to help with bad weather like rain or snow for a short period. Know my 2 coozies are nice and different than traditional but 1 of them (the short one) is a little small in diameter. (I can't remember if that was by design from my order) it does not fit a traditional 12 Oz can of soda or beer. But does take the narrow skinny beer cans like a Mich. Ultra or like many Hard Seltzer Waters. It also fits all glass 12 oz American style beer bottles. It seems like just a bit more fabric less than a .25/ qtr inch of fabric would allow the opening to accept more bottles. But the taller coozie took everything but it's just a little taller than a 12oz soda or beer can. But both definitely have a cool look and a lot nicer than a traditional old foam one. So I am looking forward to putting both to a real test in the near future."

Easy to grip!

"The wax canvas creates a good grip. This is insulated and has a snug fit on a can, if it shrinks any, I’ll be in trouble, but so far no issues. I can still feel some of the coolness from the can, so don’t think it’s a yeti or anything, but it’s a lot more packable and looks great. Looks like it belongs around a camp fire."
